The project adopted our 2.0mm HDPE geomembrane, which fully complies with international standards (ASTM D1970) and Philippine local industrial safety regulations. While being widely used in aquaculture scenarios in the Philippines (including brackish water milkfish ponds, shrimp ponds, tilapia freshwater ponds, etc.), it shows excellent performance in tank anti-seepage with 5 core advantages:
Ultra-Strong Impermeability: The permeability coefficient is ≤1×10⁻¹³ cm/s, which can completely isolate various chemical liquids (acids, alkalis, solvents) and prevent any leakage to the surrounding soil and water sources.
Excellent Corrosion Resistance: Resists corrosion of strong acids, strong alkalis, salts and various organic compounds, and has no deformation or aging after long-term contact with stored chemicals.
Climate Adaptability: Specially optimized for the high-temperature and humid climate in the Philippines, it has strong UV resistance and weather resistance, and can be used stably outdoors for more than 30 years.
High Mechanical Strength: With high tensile strength (≥28MPa) and elongation at break (≥700%), it can adapt to slight settlement of the tank foundation and avoid cracking due to external force impact.
Customizable & Easy Construction: We provide customized services for thickness (0.8-3.0mm) and width to match different tank sizes and storage media. The hot-melt welding construction is efficient, and the weld seam strength is higher than the base material, ensuring construction quality.
1. Tank Foundation Treatment: Level and compact the ground around the tank and the tank bottom foundation, remove sharp objects (stones, steel bars, etc.), and lay a 5cm thick non-woven geotextile as a protective layer to prevent the geomembrane from being punctured.
2. Geomembrane Laying: Lay the customized HDPE geomembrane according to the tank shape, with an overlap width of ≥20cm for the membrane edges. Lay it from the bottom to the top, and avoid wrinkles and tension to ensure close fit with the foundation.
3. Professional Welding: Use an automatic hot-melt welding machine to weld the overlapping parts, and conduct a pressure test on each weld seam (maintain pressure for 30 minutes without air leakage). For special parts (tank corners, pipes), use manual welding guns for precise sealing.
4. Quality Inspection: After construction, conduct a full-area leak detection test (vacuum box method + spark test) and a chemical immersion test. The qualification rate reaches 100%, and it is put into use after passing the acceptance of the Philippine environmental protection department.
Safety & Environmental Protection
After 12 months of operation, no chemical leakage has occurred. The surrounding soil and groundwater quality meet the Philippine environmental standards, avoiding environmental pollution fines and safety accidents.
